Beloved Community Team

The roots of the Beloved Community Team are embedded in the social justice charge to uproot racism in ourselves, our families, and in the communities we participated in. This charge lead us to great joy as we began to see vestiges of white privilege, white supremacy, and white fragility be engaged bravely and consistently and in so doing dismantled.  The BCT is a lay-led group that includes members of St. Stephen’s Church, St. Andrew’s, Church, Marblehead, Ascension Episcopal Church in Ipswich and members of the community. They also sponsor community workshops and trainings. They usually meet on the third Thursday evening of the month.
